When Fluffy is TOO fluffy–weight loss and getting your pet in shape for 2015.  This seminar will address causes of weight gain in pets, and how best to address it.  If you have been frustrated trying to get your pet’s weight down, or have concerns about the damage excess weight is doing to your pet, this is the seminar for you!  This meeting takes place in the seminar room at WHPC, on the SE corner of the building.  Park in front and walk through the gate next to the front door, signs will direct you.

Baxter PowellThis six-week puppy class is for puppies at least 9 weeks and less than 14 weeks (at beginning of class) who have received one puppy vaccination after 8 weeks of age.  The class covers socialization of young puppies, housebreaking, and early training skills with an emphasis towards helping your new puppy grow to be a safe, happy, and well-behaved member of the family.  Dr Leonard has 20+ years of obedience, lure coursing, and agility competition experience with numerous titles in multiple dog registries.  Positive reinforcement and consistency in training are vital to raising a dog you can proudly and safely take anywhere.  Early socialization of puppies, especially between 8-12 weeks, is VITAL to this process.

Canine Massage Appointments available @ Whole Health Pet Center

Canine Massage can benefit any dog, but those who especially appreciate this therapy are older or arthritic dogs, overweight dogs, or very active dogs such as hunting or performance dogs. Massage can relieve trigger points, release toxins, and loosen up tight areas to relieve pain.  Our certified massage therapist has years of experience.  Your pet will receive about a 30-40 minute massage for $35.  Call for an appointment.
