This six-week puppy class is for puppies at least 9 weeks and less than 14 weeks (at beginning of class) who have received one puppy vaccination after 8 weeks of age. The class covers socialization of young puppies, housebreaking, and early training skills with an emphasis towards helping your new puppy grow to be a safe, happy, and well-behaved member of the family. Dr Leonard has 20+ years of obedience, lure coursing, and agility competition experience with numerous titles in multiple dog registries. Positive reinforcement and consistency in training are vital to raising a dog you can proudly and safely take anywhere. Early socialization of puppies, especially between 8-12 weeks, is VITAL to this process.
